Minus the object ball at 20 from the cueball number = first rail number...

Hold the cue over the cueball and turn it at the first rail until you find a first rail spot in front of a Diamond Number that when added to the object ball number.

TOTAL THE CUEBALL DIAMOND NUMBER!!!

20 AND 20 = 40...

Cueball coming from in front of 40 when aimed at rubber in front of 20...

Shoot medium speed with maximum left english at 10:30 or 7:30, whichever works best for you, and a long smooth follow-thru...

Unless I'm shooting 3 rails from a very high cueball number to a low third rail object ball ball number, I prefer using extreme running high english with this perfect three rail system...

Extreme english at 10:30, medium speed and a long smooth follow through, makes the cueball take longer off the first and second rail which counteracts itself back to perfect.

YOU MUST MEMORIZE THE RED CUEBALL DIAMONDS...

Object ball diamond numbers are in front of the red cueball diamond numbers...

The top long rail will be our first (1st.) rail...

The cueball numbers are in red...

All calculations are made at the rail rubber, in front of the diamonds...

First rail contact point is - at the rubber, in front of the rail diamond number...

Object ball diamond is - -  at the rubber, in front of the rail diamond number...

Red cueball diamond is -  at the rubber, in front of the rail diamond number...

1980./  I made this shot to win the final game of a tied match during one of the later rounds of  "The World Classic 8 Ball Championship"

I remember hitting the far point on the side pocket at a steep angle, bouncing back and getting hooked on the 8 ball, instead of straight in...

The 8 ball is in front of the third rail diamond number 35, its' contact point is 12.5 away from the rail. 35 and 12.5 = object ball number 47.5.

Remember, when kicking 2 rails we add these two numbers to find our 3rd. rail object ball diamond...

Object ball diamond is 47.5...

FIRST RAIL NUMBER AND OBJECT BALL NUMBER = CUEBALL#..

Cueball diamond minus object ball diamond = first rail diamond...
67 minus 47.5 = 19.5...

I recall walking up to the first rail and putting my finger on the rubber in front of 19.5, I marked the cueball path that I used to aim with as being just at the right edge of 10, the first diamond...

Hit it  perfect with High Left English again at 10:30 on the cueball...
